Katrina Robinson – Director of Development

Hi! My name is Katrina and my job is to consistently connect and engage people with the mission, to oversee our fundraising initiatives, and to continue to develop and grow our long term relationships with the business and corporate community. I have a business degree in Human Resource Management and five years of direct advertising experience. I’ve been employed with the Mission since the summer of 2014.

I like to describe my position as a fantastic opportunity to mix my faith in God, and my desire to see people’s lives changed by the gospel, with my passion for the business world – what a blessing!

Michael Towers – Director of Operations

I am the Director of Operations for Souls Harbour Rescue Mission. I have a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Briercrest Seminary and a personal work history that includes 20 years in business management and 10 years of non-profit experience. Joining the Mission in February of 2010, I have had the privilege of taking care of both the people and the buildings of Souls Harbour Rescue Mission.

Rebecca Cochrane – Director of Programs

Hi. My name is Rebecca and I am responsible for overseeing all of the Missions Programs, including the women’s addiction program, our youth programming, our daycare, and the emergency services we offer to the public. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Rescue Ministry.

I have been involved with Souls Harbour Rescue Mission since 2004 and have seen firsthand the impact of this ministry in the City of Regina. I understand the importance of ‘community’ in helping us do the work that we do, and my desire is for more people to know who we are and what we have to offer them. The Mission is one of the best parts of my life. Blessings!

Kari Weiss – Director of Finance

For many years, I worked in the grain and construction industries in a variety of accounting related roles. However in the last few years, I felt an increasing desire to work for an organization that was changing people’s lives for the better. Souls Harbour Rescue Mission gave me that opportunity in February of 2014. In my current role, I oversee the entire finance office and various HR components as well. I am continually amazed at how the businesses and people of Saskatchewan support our organization in the work that we do. It is a privilege to do what we do, and to work alongside other people who are also passionate about making a difference.

Joe Miller – Executive Director

After working in the manufacturing industry, from the floor to management, for many years, I felt called to move from ‘building things’ to ‘building people.’ I have a passion to see the people that walk through the Mission’s doors, get the help they need; whatever their situation may be. It’s hard to believe that in a country as prosperous as ours, there are still so many people struggling to make ends meet; this shouldn’t be. If we all pitch in, together we can all change lives!
